The Institute of Residential Property Management (IRPM)

The Institute of Residential Property Management (IRPM) is the professional body for residential property management specialists and provides nationally accredited qualifications, guidance on career pathways and resources, to assist property managers within their roles. The IRPM is dedicated to supporting, building, and setting the standards of the profession.

The Association of Residential Managing Agents (ARMA)

The Association of Residential Managing Agents (ARMA) represents firms of managing agents. It is worth remembering that the residential leasehold sector is unregulated. Anyone can set up as a managing agent and start collecting service charges without the relevant qualifications or experience. ARMA thoroughly vet all members before they join, ensuring they: have the right professional experience, that your service charge money is being held legally and safely, that the member has professional indemnity insurance, that the agent is committed to and bound by professional standards, and if something goes wrong you can get independent redress.

The Property Ombudsman (TPO)

The Property Ombudsman (TPO) scheme has been providing consumers and property agents with an alternative dispute resolution service since 1990. TPO is a government-approved scheme to provide independent redress in relation to disputes between consumers and property agents.

Whilst being members of, associated with, trained by, or regulated by the above companies – we also hold suitable company insurances, including public liability and professional indemnity insurance.

All our management practices comply with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) standards and codes, including the Service Charge and Residential Management Code of Practice.

We have comprehensive Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crime policies, paired with our Financial Crime Risk Assessments, Gifts and Hospitality Policies, Suspicious Transactions Reporting Procedures and Whistleblowing Policies you can rest assured that we have been comprehensively vetted by Barclays Bank – with whom we hold all our clients’ funds.
